A video of JavaScript creator and Mozilla Chief Technology Officer Brendan Eich’s presentation at last year’s Fall Ajax Experience conference has just been posted at ScribeMedia.org.
Brendan does a brief introduction to Firefox 2 then novel features like spell checking, session restore and undo close tabs, but the main focus is in JavaScript development and the important role it plays in so called Web 2.0, characterized by rich desktop-like web applications.

Ajaxian has an interview with Brendan Eich, Mozilla CTP; Kevin Lynch Adobe Chief Software Architect; Alex Russell founderof Dojo, about the status of Tamarin, the code name project for Mozilla’s new JavaScript virtual machine, based on code donated by Adobe last year. It is expected to be included with Mozilla 2.0 (the platform), in 2008, more likely to be seen first in Firefox 4.
