Next Flock to integrate Digg, Pownce and AOL Mail

By Percy Cabello

The latest beta of forthcoming Flock, 1.2 already features Digg, Pownce and AOL Mail integration, joining other supported web services including Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Picasa, Yahoo! Mail, and Gmail, among others.

Digg integration comes in the form of a new button added to the location bar users can click on to submit the current page to Digg. The People sidebar shows all Digg friends and their latest activity, while the Media bar displays your submitted stories.

For AOL Mail support is similar to Gmail and Yahoo! Mail: you can use it as your handler for mailto: protocol links and get notifications on new messages.

Flock 1.2 beta is available for download from Flock beta page for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X.

Woah, way to clutter the browser with loads of buttons! Is there a way to get rid of the Digg button for instance?
