Flock wins a Webby for social networking

Webby logoFlock, the Firefox-based browser with a social flavor, has been awarded a Webby, one of the best reputed Internet awards, in the Social Networking category.

Flock integrates with several social networking sites including Flickr, Facebook, and Picasa, and other web services including Gmail and Yahoo! Mail.

To celebrate Earth’s Day, Flock released an Eco Edition that comes bundled with a few ecology related bookmarks and feeds and a new green theme.

The Webbies will be awarded on June 10 as part of Internet Week New York 2008.
