They've become masters of it over the last 10 years -- especially since they've lost much of their credibility. Regrettably, neophytes don't know this and they get sucked into the trap. В своем последнем отчете по угрозам безопасности в сети Интернет специалисты компании Symantec насчитали 88 изъянов в Firefox (из них 19 серьезных и 69 незначительных проблем), при этом в IE их было найдено всего 19, в Safari - 22, а в Опере - 12. В тоже время Mozilla Foundation известно о намного меньшем числе уязвимостей, многие из которых уже давно исправлены. Представители Mozilla считают, что такое число не является реальным и возникло в результате двойного подсчета (то есть включая уязвимости всех браузеров построенных на движке Gecko). В то же время в отчёте не было упомянуто о скорости закрытия уязвимостей. Так средним "время реакции" на уязвимость в случае Firefox являются 3 дня, в то же время для Internet Explorer показатель составляет в среднем 11 дней.
