Glubble receives The Next Web Award

Glubble, the powerful, fun parental control Firefox extension received a The Next Web Award in the Rookie of the Year category.

The Next Web, “a weblog that reports on everything that influences the future of the Web, in any way”, also awarded music site Last.fm for Entertainment, social site Hyves for European Company, StudiVZ in Social, Loic le Meur as Webceleb, Dutchcowboys in Weblogs, and Wakoopa for best Onstage Start-up.

Glubble is used by about 25,000 families and was recently added to Mozilla Add-ons Firefox Recommended  Add-ons list. It provides a simplified interface for kids and allows parents to keep a list of sites children can access and a way for kids to request access to specific pages and sites.
