Spread Firefox through… printing?
Published: October 22nd, 2007
Printing is clearly not Firefox’s main selling point. It’s not very hard to get a bad print from Firefox but you can make every page you print another way of spreading the word about Firefox. Or whatever else you want really.
This is thanks to a feature that allows you to add a custom message (or just any text) to printed page headers or footers.
In the File menu, select Page Setup… Select the Margins & Header/Footer tab and open the menu of the position where you want your custom message to appear (left, center or right of the header or footer), and select Custom…

Now enter the message you want, like Get the web back - Firefox.com, and you’re done.
Your prints will now become instant mini flyers.

Can this be done in “Open Office”?

Mickey, I guess the easiest way is to add a footer to a blank and save it as the default template on each OOo application.
