Surface for Firefox with SVG and native video

Chris Double, the developer working on the implementation of the <video> tag in Firefox 3 that will add native support for Theora, the open video format, has published an interesting demo that integrates his work in progress with SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), the language for defining web vector images.

The result is an impressive video manipulation application where you can drag, rotate and resize playing video screens. His work is based on Vladimir Vukicevic’s, equally amazing photo demo. Enjoy and behold the power of web standards.[coolplayer]
