Mozilla auctioning Firefox logo engraved MacBook Pro
Mozilla and eBay are auctioning a couple of MacBook Pros to promote the recently released Mozilla Firefox eBay Edition, a Firefox release that comes bundled with the Firefox Companion for eBay, an extension that allows users to track watched and selling items.
One of the auctioned laptops has a nice laser engraving of the Firefox logo on the cover (image is not an actual photo), a very desirable collectible for Firefox and technology fans. The Firefox MBP ships for free to the United Kingdom, France and Germany (the officially supported eBays). Auction funds will go to Computer Aid International, a global non-profit that supplies computers to developing countries.
The auction, currently at £1,120 (about $2,000), will run for another 8 days.

I totally agree. Although that is still very cool, replacing the apple would be amazing and would actually tempt me to bid on it.
