Still waiting for PicLens for Linux ... but loving it - as soon as I tried it I went out and adapted my Gallery2 pages for use with PicLens; sadly I don't get the benefit though as I use Ubuntu for my desktop computer. just come across Greased Lightbox though which looks to be occupying "Piclens for Linux"'s space for now ...

Incidentally would it be possible to use depth to enable a parallel picture search, top layer Google Images, next layer for Flickr etc.. Maybe that would be too cluttered?

Just a quick update . . .

Since this article first posted last year, PicLens has really transformed. PicLens now sports a full-screen 3D environment where you can instantly explore and enjoy 1000s of photos and videos on websites including YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, Googe Image Search, and many more.

More to come . . . :)

Best regards,
Alec & The Cooliris Team

Wow! That sounds like a great tool! Didn't know it was that good. I'll definitively look into it. (Or straight at it, perhaps.)

Obviously I don't. You can try to install it in a new profile. If the problem is gone it could be an incompatibility with some other extension.
