Firefox market share reaches 23% in Europe

According to XiTi Monitor, a French web monitoring firm, Firefox market share kept rising during past November grabbing 23% in Europe. Most notably, Firefox has past the 40% mark in Slovania. Finland, Poland, Germany, Croatia, Slovakia, Estonia and Hungary follow with the highest market shares in the region.

I have compiled XiTi Monitor’s reports in the next chart to better appreciate Firefox’s growth.

Firefox kept growing globally as well with Europe and Oceania almost tied at around 23%. North America is a far second while Africa is the fastest growing market during 2006.

While the gains are nice, what’s weird is why it has gone far lower in countries like Czech Republic.
