Yahoo! Mail users just got another reason to love their free web mail account. Now you can relax and let Yahoo! Mail Notifier extension check for new emails for you. Enter your username and password requested after installing the extension, and you will start receiving notifications. If you choose to store your password it will be stored encrypted along with all other passwords you may have saved and transmitted encrypted as well.

You can customize how frequently you want to check for new emails, whether you want to be notified by a popup window, a customizable sound, a fancy emerging alert or a combination of those. You can also drag the new mail icon within the status bar for better coexistance with other extensions.

Yahoo! Mail Notifier is available for Firefox, SeaMonkey, Netscape and Flock. Forthcoming releases will include multiple account support.
