Future version of Firefox for Android will feature some important new features for mobile users.

Reader Mode removes all web page content but the main article, so you get the most of mobile devices’ small screens. If you have tried Readability or similar extensions, you know how much reading improves. If not, definitely give them a try.

User interface is limited to an icon in the location bar which you tap to enter reader mode.

A style dialog allows you to customize colors, font sizes, and margins.

You can also add a page to the Reading List by tapping the reader button. Firefox makes pages in the Reading List available offline so you can  read them later. Even further, the page is synchronized among your Firefox Sync connected devices. This is not yet available for  desktop Firefox, but in short time you will be able to add a few posts and articles to read on you tablet or cell phone while on the road.

Reader Mode is already available in Firefox for Android nightlies. So if you just want to try it and are willing to take some risks, head to Firefox Nightly web page and download at will.

I would love to have this for desktop Firefox. A lot of websites don’t understand that nothing on the page should be moving or blinking when I am reading.
