Windows 7 jump lists for Firefox too

A useful tool introduced with the latest development releases of Windows 7 are jumplists: small context menus for taskbar icons that provide quick access to common tasks for each application/document. However, since Windows is still in RC status and Firefox 3.5 features was frozen a few months ago, it will not support them until at least the next major release (I doubt it will be added in a .5.x update).

Fortunately, Windows 7 users can now try Winfox, a simple utility developed by Brent Friedman that brings jumplists to Firefox. Despite a few bugs and shortcomings it seems to be working pretty well for most users. I recently reloaded my ThinkPad and still haven’t get to reinstalling Windows 7, so please share your experience if you try it.

Winfox

Winfox is available in 32 and 64-bit versions.

One major problem about the development of firefox is the slow development; new features one comes with major releases. Mozilla team doesnt do like Opera (9.5 release, 9.6 release all brings new and small features) and i think its wrong.
But nice news Percy :)

@ leandro
What is it so wrong about slow development? Version numbering doesn’t determine the amount of features should be added.

The website for winfox no longer exists. Can someone post a mirrored link?

@wizkidweb True, does anyone have a mirror?
