Thieves, pizza and bling-bling in new Firefox ad campaign

Mozilla has launched a new web ads campaign that aims to deliver a short message on why users need to look for better ways to live the web life.

The first ad focuses on security and how Firefox protects from spyware and phishing sites. A couple of thieves are stumped by Firefox as they try to get a way with a credit card number. To play the ads, right click and select Play.

The other two focus on Firefox extensibility.

The ads link to similarly themed Firefox download pages.

I find the ads much funnier, attention catching and appealing than the old static Get Firefox ads available until now and definitely a giant step forward for Firefox marketing.

Hope to see this soon in Spread Firefox.
