Make textareas suit your needs

Some times the textareas provided for forum posts, blog comments and contact forms are just not enough large or perhaps too large.

Resizable Textarea, a Firefox extension by Raik Jürgens gives you the power to resize them at will. Just move the mouse over the textarea lower right corner and resize.

No options, no user interface, nothing but simple textarea resizing. Limitations however seem to determined by the textarea type. I couldn’t get it to work with Gmail or Yahoo’s compose rich content textareas. It also behaved strangely in Gmail’s compose mail To: field.

Hopefully this will get sorted out and land in Firefox code in a near future. Get it at Mozilla Add-ons.

This add-on seems to have disappeared.
